We are looking for researchers with strong expertise in speech/audio processing, machine learning, or statistical signal processing. Experience with engineering workflows using GitHub and HPC environments is highly desirable. Applicants are not required to possess all of these skills at the time of appointment, but are expected to acquire them as needed after joining.
We particularly encourage applicants aiming to publish at leading international conferences such as IEEE ICASSP or Interspeech, and in core journals including IEEE/ACM Trans. on ASLP or IEEE SP Letters.

We welcome undergraduate and graduate students (including those considering our graduate school program) who are interested in research on audio processing or machine learning. To aim for presenting at IEEE ICASSP or Interspeech, we recommend participation of at least 2 months for undergraduate or master’s students, and at least 3 months for doctoral students.
Cooperative Graduate School Program with the University of Tsukuba #
Through the Cooperative Graduate School Program, students can enroll in the Master’s and Doctoral Programs in Intelligent and Mechanical Interaction Systems at the University of Tsukuba (Intelligent Acoustics Laboratory). Prospective master’s and doctoral students are welcome to contact us to discuss research topics, application schedules, and other details.
